Since we are as amazingly amazed by the ALEXANDER WANG x H&M - TopicsExpress

Since we are as amazingly amazed by the ALEXANDER WANG x H&M collection, that is released today, as the rest of the fashion world, we have made, somehow as an homage, a promotion-video for the Wangmaster and the swedish junk-giant. Besides all the euphoria for the prettily put together design-cooperation, we want to remind everyone, which unsympathetic players are on that project. Because Alexander Wang and H&M are more similar, as one would think on first sight: Wang once was criticised for the bad salary of his sewers in China Town, who are working 16 hours per day without a break, and the swedish child-labor-employer, is known for preferably making it’s sewers work as long and if possible also by petite hands, in Asian sweat-shops, to offer T-shirts for 4,90 Euro. They agree on how to handle their workforce in the most efficient and free-enterprised way – in the most profit-optimised way. For our promotion-video for the ALEXANDER WANG x H&M-cooperation, we have not avoided any efforts or costs and flew to India, where the main-part of the global textile-production is taking place. There we did not have search long, to find the ideal setting for our clip: a typical textile-factory in the juggernaut of Mumbai. Our main actor is as excited about the cooperation as Alexander Wang himself, that’s why he quotes the Wangmaster in the finest english: ”I am honored to be a part of H&M’s designer collaborations.” – that is what Al Wang said once about the cooperation and as honoured are many sewers, who are sewing the collection for H&M. Also we, us from DANDY DIARY, feel very honoured, to be a part of this great cooperation – and are happy, to bring our share to the success of ALEXANDER WANG x H&M. Great cooperation. Never ever, something has been as fitting! We want to congratulate the Wangmaster and the Swedes. You have done everything right. Awesome guys! Dandy Diary
