Since we got back from The Picu on July 30th Kaylees co2 levels (oxygen levels) have been staying in the 20s and low 30s!!! This is lower than normal!!! They want her to be between 35-55. This is such a huge difference from being off the charts in the opposite direction when she was sick. It was Over 135. Some of nurses had never seen it ever that high on anyone. Now they are being forced to turn down her ventilator every few days! Since we got back to the childrens center her breath rate went from 40 to 30 and her pressure support today went down from 22 to 20!!! The pressure support is her biggest hurdle because she breaths on her own they are just not big enough breaths to keep her lungs expanded. Thank you Jesus! Hes fixing that problem this very moment! She used to be very sensitive to changes but not anymore! Praise God! She has also weaned down from 1 litter to 1/2 a litter on oxygen! Next step room air! Therefore I say to you WHATEVER things you ask when you pray BELIEVE that you receive them and you WILL have them.
