Since we have readers from various parts of the world, Kim and I were curious if there were any food traditions you guys had for New Years Day. Growing up in East Texas, we always had black-eyed peas and cabbage. I hated cabbage growing up but now Im in love with this Salvadoran kraut weve been making so well open the crock today to see if our second batch was successful. Along with that were making black-eyed peas, cornbread and collard greens because, well, you cant have too many greens and we LOVE collards. Whats on the menu for your New Years meal?
