Since when did hunting become a NON BLOOD sport? I dont know about yall, but Im getting irritated with all the politically correct hunting CRAP! I am unapologetically a hunter... When I arrow, shot, stab or use a harpoon/bangstick on my prey, it BLEEDS & it DIES. I am the one whose hand holds the weapon, therefore I KILLED it. Then I harvest the meat (hee hee)... If the Antis do not like it, so be it.... However as HUNTERS we need to remain UNITED, not divided. I will NEVER succumb to peer pressure, change my views or deny my God given right to HUNT. God put us on the top of the food chain for a reason. In the very beginning of the bible, He instructs us to hunt. Now then, get your equipment -- your quiver and bow -- and go out to the open country to hunt some wild game for me. (Genesis 27:3) Furthermore, here is the DEFINITION of HUNT: verb (used with object) 1. to chase or search for (game or other wild animals) for the purpose of catching or KILLING. verb (used without object) 8. to engage in the pursuit, capture, or KILLING of wild animals for food or in sport. (Source: Dictionary) DEFINITION of HARVEST: verb (used with object) 6. to gather (a crop or the like); reap. verb (used without object). 10. to gather a crop; reap. (Source: Dictionary). DEFINITION of KILL: verb (used with object) 1. to deprive of life in any manner; cause the death of; slay. verb (used without object) 19. to inflict or cause death. (Source: Dictionary) Okay, now that we have that clarified, I am USING the PROPER terminology..... (Im SO not PC)! I think it is a hunters DUTY to SHOW the REALITY of the hunt & the RESPONSIBILTY of the hunter. If you pull the trigger, UNDERSTAND that the object you are aiming at will DIE because YOU killed it! That is merely the beginning. Afterwards, you have the responsibility to track, field dress (gut), drag out, skin, butcher & dispose of the waste. That is a FACT! It is a lot of work, yet the benefits are outstanding, youve provided meat on the table, youve been self sufficient, youve followed Gods word. Now...... I will NOT BACK DOWN. I will stand my ground. I will remain tough & tenacious. I will NEVER give up my RIGHTS to HUNT, nor my RIGHTS to legally obtain food for my family. If you do not like it, dont look! If you do not understand it, ASK. If you eat meat, dont judge..... RANT OVER. :)
