Since when did we become so isolated? Humans are supposed to be a gregarious species. Nowadays , we would do anything to avoid contact with our fellows. Yes! In this era of connectivity we have become truly disconnected. I was sitting in a battery rickshaw and noticed how other three people around me did everything possible to avoid eye contact with each other. They stared at their shoes, stared at their freaking finger nails but refused to look at each other and exchange a friendly hello. What a shame ! We are now scared of our fellow human beings as if they are vicious beasts . How did we become so cynical that we would have to think not twice but thrice before leaving our child in care of our neighbours who have been living besides us for past ten years ? How did we become such a suspicious race that we are afraid to stop for a second and tell directions to a lost stranger on road without pondering for our safety and ulterior motives of that stranger . This disconnection is suffocating me and I intend to break free from it ! I am going to go out today, smile at a random stranger and feel part of this world than just be cooped up in my own cocoon ! Lets all of us try this, smile kindly at random people and share results of it!!!! #Luna
