Sincerely from my Heart Lord, I thank you for Nigeria. We’ve come this far because of your mercy. I believe Nigeria is your creation, not a Lord Lugard mistake or a mere geographical expression. I believe you have a purpose for Nigeria. I believe we occupy a prophetic position in your programme. I thank you for all the ethnic and tribal groups that make up the Nigeria nation, even if Satan often exploits these differences to tear us apart. We’re definitely not where we should be at 54, but we’re certainly not where we started off in 1960. You’re not responsible for our problems and oftentimes outright foolishness. Our leadership challenge is our creation. Nevertheless, you’ve been merciful and compassionate to us as a people. Thank you for your mercy that continues to uphold us in spite of our many self-inflicted problems. I believe sincerely that we’re better off as one. Lord, I ask that your grace will sustain us and cause us to come fully into your plans and purpose for us as a nation. I pray that you will do that that only you can do regarding our situation as a nation. Lead us in the path of national repentance that will birth a new nation, a nation you are pleased with. Give us leaders after your heart and cause the present crop of leaders to do what is right. Lord, there is nothing you cannot do. Help us to cooperate with you to accomplish your purpose for Nigeria. Lord, put out every candle of the wicked bent on destroying Nigeria. I pray for peace across the length and breadth of Nigeria. Let the blood of Jesus avail for Nigeria against the host of darkness. Let your glorious light wipe out our darkness. Deliver us from greed; teach us contentment. Show us mercy, not because we deserve it, but because it is in your nature to be merciful. Lord, if you should mark sin, who among us will stand guiltless? Thank you for loving us as much as you continue to do. Thank you, Lord, that notwithstanding our present circumstances, we will get to our own Promised Land, in the name of Jesus. Amen. #IBELIEVEINNIGERIA
