Singapore govt needs your feedback. I say yes as long as it doesnt obstruct traffic and other adjustments are made so that those who pay rents dont lose out. Those who need some extra bucks can earn. My niece in Miri used to sell roti prata and ramli burger outside Curtin Uni when she was 16 and earned her pocket money for school. I recall in the 90s there used to be a vegetable seller who would park his lorry of veges at an empty space off Upper Serangoon Road from 7pm to abt 10pm & sell veges at very good prices...then he disappeared. In Kathmandu from 5pm vendors selling veges come on the street and start selling. 30 nepali rupees (less than 50 singapore cents) of veges is sufficient to prepare dinner for a small family.
