Singer/songwriter Alanis Morissette has written a song describing the experience of a woman in relationship with a man who is stuck in an unhealed narcissistic complex. Women in such a position often have difficulty getting others to understand what such an experience is like and how damaging it is to their soul. Alanis gives voice to this...peppered with some righteous indignation. Giving voice is something that is SOOO needed, as Echo, Narcissus counterpart, suffers the loss of her voice, and is doomed to repeat only his utterances, his story, forever.
