Singers at Southern triumphed this weekend in Atlanta at GA NATS Auditions. The freshmen duo of Zach Futch and Tessa Morris swept the Freshman Men and Womens divisions taking first place in their Divisions. They are both students of Allen Henderson. Graduate student Brenna Dudley a student of Arikka Gregory won first place in the Advanced Music Theater Women division. All three performed on the winners concert. Other students also received awards Devyn Crawley placed first in her subcategory of the lower college music theater division and also first place in her subcategory in the sophomore women division. Brenna Dudley also placed third in the Advanced Women classical division. Brenna and Devyn are students of Arikka Gregory. Alex Smith placed second in the sophomore men division Cydney Gardner placed second in the junior women division Cydney and Alex are students of Allen Henderson. Future GSU Eagle (we hope) Fredrick Thompson, a student at Davidson Fine Arts and of Allen Henderson, placed first in the Beginning High School Men division. This is the third year in a row a student of Henderson has won this division. A special thanks to our heroic accompanists Dr. Karla Rocker and Heidi Ordaz Congrats to all!!
