Singing Did you have a thought of standing alone on the stage with microphone in your hand in front of the screaming mob and to sing like you do in your bathroom? Then don’t be scare and it is the time to come out of that bathroom so as to create the magic of your sur and tall to amaze the audience. So all the RJs and Aarohi’s out there, this event is just made for you. A contest to show how melodious and talented you are. This is a solo event and you can use instrument if you want. thetamasha/singing FORMAT: Round 1:This is a preliminary round. All the registered participants will have to give an audition for entering into the second round. For giving audition they have to report at 9 a.m. on the day of event. Participants can also upload their performance video on YouTube and mail us the link for the video. You have to upload your videos on YouTube with hashtag “thetamasha”. (#thetamasha) Round 2: Top 10 singers from the round 1 goes into the second round where they will fight for the Grand prize of Rs.4000 in Cash and Kind. This is the final round and winners will be decided from these 10. JUDGING CRITERIA Rhythm and Beats: 50 Points Voice: 50 Points Vocal Range: 50 Points Song selection: 25 Points Synchronization with instruments: 25 Points RULES AND REGULATIONS: Time limit: From the moment a participant’s name is announced, he/she will have a total of 6 minutes to go to the stage, set an instrument (if needed), perform a sound check (if required), and perform. Exceeding time will result in penalties. Penalty will be imposed for exceeding the time limit.10 Points will be deducted from final score for each minute of exceeding the time limits. Participants shall bring all the required instruments and costumes by themselves. Organizers must not be approached with any requests in the matter. There should be no vulgarity and provoke in lyrics. Any attempt of provoking the masses will not be tolerated and person will be considered as defaulter leading to direct disqualification. Registration Fees: Rs. 250 per head. Prizes: Prize of Rs.4000 in cash and kind along with Trophy and certificate to the winner. We will promote the winners on our social media platforms. Prize of Rs.3000 in cash and kind along with certificate to the runner-up. Prize of Rs.2000 in cash and kind along with certificate to the first runner-up.
