Singing lesson tonight took place directly opposite the Opera Principals Restroom at the ROH, traffic in and out of which seemed fairly high given the corridor noise. Ballo was on, and Id been in the building 30 seconds before I bumped into Eva Maria Westbroeck. This raises the possibility that I have just been squawking Cherubino on a weird nasal vowel in front of Joseph Calleja, Dmitri Hvorostovsky, Westbroeck and I-promise-on-my-life-Im-not-actually-stalking-you-despite-what-it-might-look-like-Jonas Kaufmann.
