Single Fathers Association of Trinidad and Tobago has been highlighting the role of the judiciary in family life. The national community placed the judiciary on a pedestal forgetting that it is made up of human beings, normal people with biases, varied childhood backgrounds, upbringing, weaknesses. While their decisions are rooted in law, can we be sure that their personal experiences are not reflected in their decisions. Maybe there should be ongoing review of cases, decisions and outcomes to get an idea of trends and the effect of decisions on the society.
