Announce Parenting Paperless Conference for Single Parents Plano, TX— June 26, 2013 — Gifts for Moms and Single Side Up announceParenting Paperless, a conference specifically for single parents in North Texas. This conference is designed to give single parents the tools they need to help their families be successful. “We want to re-brand what it means to be a single parent! Statistics tell one story; we are working to tell another one. This conference is just a first step in rewriting the single parent story,” said Stephanie Ward, founder of Gifts for Moms. Parenting Paperless will take place on October 19, 2013 from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, at Epoch at Chase Oaks Church, 201 Legacy Drive, Plano, Texas, 75023. There will be workshops and seminars offering technological advice on legal issues, finances, social media, connecting with your kids, and more. Single parents will get an opportunity to pitch their business ideas to investors during “Success Tank” (based on TV’s Shark Tank) for single parent entrepreneurs. There will be workshops on how to find a job using social media, how to make money online, apps that can make life easier and a workshop on how to get fit with your phone. An attorney will discuss social media and new laws and a panel of family law attorneys will discuss family law and how technology can make or break your court case.
