Single Vehicle Rollover on Gabbs Pole Line Road near Tonopah On March 17, 2014, at approximately 4:49 am, Troopers from the Nevada Highway Patrol were dispatched to a single-vehicle rollover on Nye County Road-805 (Gabbs Pole Line Rd), approximately 12 miles north of Tonopah. The preliminary crash investigation details indicate a silver 2007 Nissan Versa, driven by Devan L. Wright, 24 from Tonopah, was traveling northbound on NCRD-805. For reasons unknown, Wright failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway and allowed her vehicle to cross over into the southbound travel lane and then onto the unpaved shoulder. Wright overcorrected the Nissan, which caused the vehicle to rotate in a clockwise direction and ultimately rolled over. The Nissan came to rest on its wheels, in the desert area, east of NCRD-805. Wright was ejected from the vehicle and she was pronounced deceased by Nye County deputies on scene. Wright was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident.
