Single mothers, I would like to remind you that you can be a great mother to your sons. But, you will never be able to fulfill the role of a father to your sons. Be the best mother you can be to your sons. A son needs the love, affection, and care that a mother gives. And this need is never diminished. But, know this - a boy needs a man to teach him how to be a man. You will never be able to teach your sons how to be a man. I pray that God would give you the wisdom to allow the godly men He will send your way to be the father figures that your sons need. When he sends them your way, allow them to treat your sons as they would their own. Remember that they are men and they will not treat them like you do because they are.... men.
