Sinn Fein have always stated that theyre Not into the politics of condemnation!... Well, up until recently at least.. Now they condemn everything... Well at least everything post GFA... Alex Maskey was asked some months back would he condemn the killing of RUC man Michael Ferguson from 1993 as he was publicly condemning the killing of Ronan Kerr... He would NOT condemn it, stumbling over his words and with a dry throat while trying to change the subject...He was asked again and again and refused to do so.. So, its not that they arent into the Politics of condemnation, rather they plump for selective condemnation where pre-GFA was (I guess in their eyes) good violence and everything subsequently bad violence and to be condemned as they likely see it as pissing on the careerist parade.. So, if they have a new remit where they trip over themselves to condemn violence, lets see them condemn pre-GFA violence.. Lets see them boycott meetings with warmongers across the world rather than court them, eat with them, arse-lick them.. Lets see them condemn the ongoing violence of the ruc/psni.. the screws in Maghaberry,,Lets see them make principled stands against Israeli genocide and land grabbing instead of posing for photo opportunities with their ambassador.. Lets see them condemn Guantanamo... They wont.. They talk about dark sides.. Their own is darker than most..
