Sinned Yes I have sinned, many a time over. Damn every bend, beginning to end. “Must you not breathe, this air you don’t own. Weave up your own wreathe, Give up for lesser known.” Death was what I met, the day I was born. A nasty little thought, I stomped, and lived on. Sin number one – “murder” I bore the meaning of Life. --- Must you not achieve, more than your petty lot. In humility receive, what alms you’ve got.” My work was thrown away, in graves wide deep. I brought it back home when the world lay asleep. Sin number two – “theft” I created the joy of Life. --- “Men are born same, must you not differ. Don’t put them to shame. Be kind, not stiffer.” That’s when I found: how men equalize. Rebellion brewed on - better, bitter, wise. Sin number three – “sedition” I stoked the fire of Life. --- “Black/white will fade, grey will what remain. From lies, truth is made. Your quest is in vain.” Yet adamant I was, for was taught the untaught. Despite constant push, I could never ever rot. Sin number four – “treason” I harboured truth in Life. --- “Must you bow to Him, the great creator of this earth. No sky-towering whim. Enjoy the ‘Dark Age’ mirth.” But I was damn selfish, couldn’t pass the honour. As I turned the dust to gold, their “god” ran for his corner! Sin number five – “blasphemy” I became the Self-God of Life. Yes I have sinned, many a time over. Damn every bend, beginning to end. Red is Absurd
