Sinners, some of what the church is built from, must first allow themselves to be made holy in order to be fitly framed and polished stones in order to fit into the building of God. 1Pe 2:5 Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an ***holy priesthood***, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ. Eph_2:21 In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an ***holy*** temple in the Lord: Though Babylon could destroy the temple of Solomon, the gates of hell cannot prevail against this temple. The duty of the minister is to draw water from this temple, from the stream of life giving water, and offer it to the sinner. The sinner can come to this house as a servant, but God wants him to drink this life giving water. To make him a Son and it is only by drinking the water, by accepting the Spirit, by being born into the family that instead of being the Gibeonite, he can become by adoption an Israelite receiving the Spirit of His Father and Brother, whereby He can cry with that same Spirit, Daddy, Daddy.
