Sino-Sierra Leone: ties in Education The Chinese have always stood by Sierra Leone. In the midst of the ongoing national challenge, they have not only continued supporting us in the fight against the Ebola Virus Disease, the Chinese Government has also continued to provide yearly scholarship to dozens of deserving young Sierra Leoneans to pursue higher education in different fields of academia. In the coming days, (Friday 5th September) we shall be receiving another set of students from Sierra Leone who shall be coming for studies and, depending on course of study, are expected to be in China for two or four years. Through this, Sierra Leone is sure of building her human resource capacity. In the last two years, we have received over sixty Sierra Leoneans; each year running to not less than 30.Detailed report shall be provided you by close of this week when they shall have arrived!
