Sir Bryan Keith Brigham Nuke, I fully understand your amazement at the Black mans stubborn belief in God and religion. Personally, I think anyone who can read and understand what they are reading realize that the Truth has been tampered with, misinterpreted, misused, distorted, and mythified to a great extent. Me? Just as the non-believer has called on the believers to prove that God exists, when the Christian has said their belief is based on faith, I am calling on the non-believer to prove that He doesnt. I have found a great many people from the Science community who insists that He does. A question good friend, why isnt God, Jesus and the word not good enough for us now, now that we believe we are free from slavery? All of those freedom messages sent out thru Swing down, Swing low, Sweet chariot? Steal way Heaven bound (North Star), How I got over? Sometimes I feel like a motherless child? I cant count the activists messages in the spiritual songs Mahalia Jackson sang. She is truly one of my favorite, unsung civil rights activists. Now all of this hogwash about believing in a white-skinned, blue-eyed, straight-haired, Saviour reaching out to save us is bologna. Once you scientists, atheists, and agnostics prove beyond any doubt that there is no God and we just happened by energy, I will believe you. Until then, my brother and good friend, Im going to believe that a greater entity than myself put it all together, as much of as a myth as it sounds. I can not believe that EVERYTHING in the bible is a lie. I can assure you, if I believed that after earthly life there was nothing more, I would not suffer a terminal, painful illness if I was struck with one. And I can not understand why a non-believer would. Peace always.
