Sir Ive owned two Jeep Cherokees in my life so I said Lord Im going to have to ask. My name is.******** Im a veteran, I am a Christian, my car broke down and Im $15 short of being able to get my tire fixed. Would you be willing to help out for any or all of $15 for a poor Christian veteran? Now Ive heard this near exact story a few dozen times in my life but this cat had a new twist being that he was actually driving the van when he told me his car had broken down. Nonetheless being a charitable fellow I explained that I did not have cash but Id be happy to throw some gas in his tank. After a bit of a grimace he said hed take the gas. As he turned the van around so he could get the gas I offered I couldnt help but notice the Obama 2012 sticker on the bumper. That I willingly obliged a con artist doesnt really chap me because I know it was a con, I got the dough, and I kind of get a kick out of watching the flummoxed expressions when offering to help these guys but not actually give them cash. It does chap me this particular con artist also openly advertises for the greatest grifter ever to set foot in American political theater. Fortunately for him Im a man of my word; he still got the gas. Had I seen the bumper sticker before having made my promise I might have drawn down on him figuring out was about to get mugged and him packing.
