Sissy is a honey-colored sable and white, sweet older collie. She is about eight or nine years old and has adapted quickly to her foster home and the resident collies there. She is very engaging and playful outdoors and likes to herd her foster parents like most good collies do. She uses her paws to poke and prod, all in a cute and endearing way. Sissys face is whitening like many older dogs but she moves with a light, young-dog gait. Though she can be inside any time she wants, she is content to be outdoors enjoying her back yard. Her build is lean but she is a good size for a female collie, weighing in at 58 lbs. Sissy is completely housebroken and has had no accidents during her stay. Her choice of soft dog beds is much to her liking and she can be found sacked out on one each evening. Though Sissy is very tentative about some unfamiliar things, (such as hardwood floors) she has gradually become accustomed to the new things in her foster home. In the estimation of her foster parents, she would do well in a home with other collies and would be equally at home as the sole dog in the household. Sissy is very easy to live with. She has not been exposed to cats and small children but by virtue of her generally easy going nature it is not likely she would cause any problem. She meets and greets visitors in a friendly way. Sissy would make a wonderful addition to any loving family ready to welcome her into their home. Sissy is being fostered in Tn.
