Sometimes we want to let it go, but something holds us back -- the memories. We know it will keep us hurting, yet we rather suffer the pain of rejection than to suffer the pain of losing -- although we have lost it, long time ago. Sisters, dont get mistaken love with affection and attachment. For not all the good memories means you still love him, it simply means you are still attached to him. For what is haraam, let it go. Or else it will keep hurting you over and over again. I promise you, for the pain of losing someone for the sake of Allāh is less severe than the pain of disobeying Him. And I promise, that one day someone will hug you so tightly and fix back all the broken pieces -- Yes, its your Halal husband. Remember, Allāh has written your happiness no one can steal it from you and He has written when you should meet your other half, put your trust in Him. Do not disobey Allāh for the sake of someone you love because the heart of the one you love is in the control of the One you disobey.
