Sister Rosemary Nyirumbe will receive the 2014 UN Women Impact Award at the Sarasota Film Festival this week! She is being honored by the UN Women at the Sarasota Film Festival during a special tribute luncheon and several showings of the documentary film - Sewing Hope during the festival. It was shared that this UN Women Impact award was not being presented to Sister Rosemary as a culmination of her work---but being presented for her support and her continuing efforts on the behalf of women. Past recipients of this award include: Gina Davis, Mariel Hemingway and many others. Congratulations Sister Rosemary --- This award / recognition is so deserved. Thank you for making-a-difference with the children and women in Uganda and South Sudan.
