Sisters Sisters can be a blessing especially if youre the oldest Bossing them around and watching them show this Thing called admiration Before you realize it, times been wasted Theyre all grown up and have their own life Youre still influential but not as much as you did when they were nine You find time getting away from you Family grows and youve had a mate or two Life just gets in the way There seems to be no time to talk, act silly, laugh and play The things you did like rewind tapes over and over to learn the words after the hook Sharing secrets and the first swing of the belt is what it took To get the secret out Cheering eachother up after a whooping because otherwise you wouldve closed your mouth Sharing clothes and even underwear Stealing shirts and shoes even when theyre too big, up in there Is the answer I was given when I couldnt find my something that was mine Funny thing though, up in there was never a place I could find The words stupid, ugly, bald head and dog used to make me so mad Looking back it was so funny and Im so glad We never really took the words to heart We can fight together, but not with eachother thats smart Warm breeze Outside is where i want to be But teaching you how to do algebra was definitely a need On my bed you set Going over problems that youd eventually get Sitting on the porch together because over algebra, you no longer had to fret Doing things like throwing rocks over the bridge Probably wasnt the smartest thing I allowed you to do but I did Fighting your battles and lying for you if I could Stealing cars and riding around blocks if asked to participate you would Sisters are your first friends especially if youre close in age Today Im wishing my sister and also my friend a Hapoy Birthday Ugly, Bald Head dog! ♥♡♥♡ Erika Kane
