Sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law... We understand that theyre non-mahrams, right? Now in family gatherings when everyones having fun together, joking around and all. It may be your own sibling and their spouse, or it may be your own spouses family, all hanging around together. And youre missing out on it all. It must feel really lonely, and even awkward to be away from the fun just because free mixing isnt appropriate in Islam. At times like this, think of all the reward youll be getting from Allah [swt].
