Sisters u should be teaching ur kids Islamic etiquette right from the day they are born: 1. When they wake up in morning or everytime u see them after parting, say Assalamu Alaikum in a happy cheerful tone- this teaches ur children the importance of salam, DONT say hello or hi or good morning 2. When guests come over get ur child to say salam & shake hands with guests- excellent for confidence & social skills in kids 2. Say bismillah everytime they eat, when they learn to talk, get them to say bismillah before eating anything 3. When they fall or trip or hurt themselves teach them to say bismillah not whoops etc- teaches kids to remember Allah even if bad things happen 4. When they clean up their mess or do anything helpful dont say thanks say: Jazak Allahu Khayr 5. When they sneeze say Alhamdulillah 6. When putting them to sleep, sing Al Fatiha or other Surahs as a lullaby or put Quran on 7. When ur kids are having a tantrum put Quran on, u will see them relax & calm down in minutes- teaches ur kids to turn to remembrance of Allah when they feel upset, down etc 8. Spend at least an hour a day where ur child listens to Quran, this will develop in them a habit of listening to the words of Allah which relaxes the temperament of a child 9. When changing their clothes say bismillah 10. When theyre toilet trained them teach them the dua to recite when entering bathroom, u can stick the dua near entrance of bathroom door & recite together with them 11. Teach ur kids to follow Sunnah to sit & drink water & say alhamdulillah after 12. To wear shoes on right foot first & say bismillah. Remember any BENEFICIAL KNOWLEDGE that u teach ur kids & they practice it, u will get rewarded for even after u die so let this be ur motivation in shaa Allah & as a MOTHER ur a SHEPHERD & responsbile for ur kids & u will be questioned about it on Judgement Day
