Sit Rep for Gail, Sheila, and Mark... New York police were today alerted to the disappearance of a T shirt in a small village, called Godalming in England. New York cop, Jimmy Jankowitz takes up the story. We got a call from Scotland Yard. They reported the unexplained disappearance of the said T Shirt and after all attempts to locate the item failed, Chief Constable Sherlock Bones deduced that the only possible explanation, was that it had fallen foul of the Bermuda shorts Triangle. So he contacted us! But New York Cops drew a blank and they passed it to the Feds who, astonishingly, discovered links with the address, to an Arms Dealer. Our Reporter is now live at the scene and takes up the story: It appears that the T shirt has been taken hostage by a radicalised pair of underpants belonging to a splinter group known as the Y FRONT. They claim that after being held captive for years behind a radiator, which had never been dusted, they managed to escape. A spokesman for the Y Front had declared that a T Shirt has been taken hostage and will not be released until all Radiators in England have been dismantled to free similarly imprisoned pants. The YFRONT has been supplying arms to terrorists and criminals to finance its cause. To this end the Y FRONT admits to radicalising all kinds of pants and knickers in its pursuit of establishing a New World Order. They have been terrorising moths to chew off the sleeves of shirts and Jackets to pass off as Arms to unsuspecting terrorists! But our reporter can now reveal a dramatic development. We go now live, to our Fashion Correspondent Jackie Jacquette. Well, the siege is over, after the English SAS stormed the flat in question. Lets talk to a member if the team, whose identity must remain secret. So, Captain, what can you tell is about the operation to free the T Shirt? It was very difficult conditions. The terrain was tricky and I didnt like the paintwork. I actually saw some cobwebs which was a tough one. But after clearing all the rooms we found the T Shirt surrounded by underpants. They had a formidable supply of arms, but we took em to the cleaners. The T shirt is now being De Briefed, and will be re-united with its owner shortly! Back to the Studio!
