Siththaravi is a drama which narrates a story about an ordinary village girl converted to an international artist while facing difficulties backed by poverty. The way she overcomes all the obstacles with her natural innocence , courage and good values is the moral of this story. The main character Samara is a talented artist who lives in the village with her mother and the sister. Mother works at a quarry for their living. Samaras sister who pursues modelling and acting falls for a man of questionable character from the city. In contrast, Samara loves the village environment and continues her painting. She receives fame and recognition in an international competition. Still she doesnt give up her village simplicity. The story is supported by colorful range of characters.
