Sitting at work tonight grieving the loss of an amazing, loving woman. There are not enough words to express my Grandma. My sister Beth Guthrie said it best. I cant help but sit here and feel the hurt and pain of the loss, but for what my amazing dad, Chuck Guthrie must be feeling right now. My heart is breaking for him. Because of the amazing love my grandparents had for each other and the family, I was blessed and honored with a father that I can not either put it to words. I am so lucky to have him as my dad, and one of my best friends. This is an older song but I remember many, many times watching my dad listen to it and cry his eyes out about missing his dad. I would curl up next to him as a child, and cry with him. And today I know he is doing the same, listening to it crying thinking of his mom. I dont have to be in the same state to know thats what he has been doing. But I wish I was with him tonight, because I would do the same, curl up next to him and cry with him.
