Sitting here at Denver International Airport watching a steady stream of uniformed military personnel walking by, hopefully heading home to be with family. Families who will try, but will be unable not to wonder if this is their last Christmas together. I am struck by how young they are; faces still full of pimples and milk barely dried on their tongues. It is a shame that we send our children off to fight out our senseless posturings. If history is any teacher, in 50 years all these hyped up animosities will be set aside. Sadly, their families will never be able to set aside the loss. Support the troops. Bring them home.
