Sitting here at Kentville hospital under the influence of morphine waiting to have surgery on my right wrist. Yesterday I fell down a flight of stairs and broke both long bones of my wrist really bad. I guess the ends are both crushed. Today the surgeon will put screws to fix them. I also have a small compressed fracture on one of my vertebrae in my lower back but its supposed to heal on its own. It could have been much worse so Im thankful for that. How quickly things can happen. All because my slipper got stuck on my pant leg which made me lose my balance.
