Sitting here deleting over 5000 photos from my phone is a very humbling experience. Some photos Ill admit I am glad I have and have kept. But all these photos are just sitting on my phone. I dont need them. I remember all the experiences and have all the memories. And most of these photos I havent looked at in over 2 years since I took them with my phone. Theres tons of photos of the animals from each time we went to the zoo... but why? Theres tons of photos from every single one of ians baseball practices.... but why?? A couple I understand.... but not 20-30 each time of the SAME thing. Photos of the sky because it was beautiful. Ever. Single. Morning. Just made me realize some things and put things into perspective. And the photos I did keep I want at least on a cd. They are memories I want to keep. But not on a phone. I do want to take photos of my son for memories ... and of my friends for memories.... but theyll be more meaningful when i do take them. And then after theyre taken Ill be sure to enjoy my time making the memories I will always remember.
