Sitting here thinking about my mom. My life was forever changed when my mom received her angel wings. Tuesday, October 21, 2014 is on repeat in my mind. If only I had known that the day before was my last opportunity to hug you, kiss you, say good morning, say good night, tell you I love you. If only I had known you would go to sleep on earth and wake up in heaven. If only I had known God was preparing you for a greater purpose. If only I had known I was losing my cheerleader, my confidant, my friend, my everything. If only...... It is still so hard to face each day without you. The tears still fall and the pain feels as though it will never end. I know I have to continue living and find comfort in knowing one sweet day I will see you again. Praying for the strength and motivation to get through the holidays with only memories of them with you. Only God can get my family through this.
