Sitting here thinking over the past few years and wondering how fast time goes but also thinking they were the longest years that I can remember....from being diagnosed with kidney disease to today seems such a blur....when I think of the timeline and feeling like it was forever to realizing it wasnt and that I was so blessed through the whole process. for example: how many feel I was on dialysis forever? ME..lol this is my timeline: Diagnosed in 2006 with iga nephropathy and just went on with life, 2010 May went on diaylsis, early 2012 got on the pairing exchange list, 2012 sept got a kidney transplant, to today 2014...crazy ...what I thought felt like forever was only 4 years...I know people who have been waiting longer and continue to wait...I thank God for this blessing to me..this miracle of sacrifice from Fred donating his kidney to someone (thankyou , I love you for that gift ;)so I could receive mine from someone (thanks Steve)...so here is my plea or request..I have a friend right now who is desperate need of a kidney (needed it yesterday!!) please say a prayer Dallas and his family...and please sign your donor cards....and if God has blessed you with 2 amazing kidneys consider donating one if you hear of a friend or family member or a stranger...live donors are needed too...be a miracle for someone!! It isnt for everyone..but you might be that one person willing to help out!! having a greatful moment- reflection time!!!! HAVE A GREAT DAY..I WILL BE!!! (note: things I took for granted and now I better take advantage of...later today I will be swimming in a lake!!!)
