Sitting in another REST AREA in a strip of interstate in the heart of Tornado Alley, before the dawn of what is anticipated to be an epic extreme weather day of my life....the flashed of last nights lightning still burned in my mind....my location foreign to any prior point of my life....solo... The radio announcer comes on and says: Hail and Tornadoes likely today by 4-5pm, theres still 10 hrs to prepare for your safety and property.... Goosebumps form as I read the interstate sign reads OKC 45 miles north....YEARS Ive anticipated, countless days....twilight begins to reveal the horizon in the prelude of this potentially historic day.....
