Sitting in bed talking with Elly as were going to sleep at my grandparents house. I mentioned that I hope the kids know that my weaknesses do not reflect what God is like. For instance, God always does what he says he will do, me, I struggle with that . I said to her, God always does though, not like me, Im just a messed up human...there was silence for a minute then she replied, mom, we are all messed up...yes, honey we are... Shes getting it.. May we always remember God is not man! He will never let us down, ever, people do but God will not.
