Sitting in the USAirways Club in the Charlotte Airport. Dr.Sweetheart (aka Kim West Clark) and I are on the way to Fort Lauderdale for a week of down time. We are having a bit of primarily just us time for the first couple of days, then we are joining a bunch of friends to celebrate the birthday of the infamous Fred Showker, a legend in his own time!! Rumor has it that there will be good food, live trop-rock music every night, brightly colored shirts, flip-flops, and the scent of sunscreen....and of course...plenty of Lt. Blenders Frozen Concoctions!!!! Shaping up to be a good week!!!
