Sitting in the emergency department waiting patiently and a guy comes in screaming in pain with symptoms that are indicative of appendicitis. The hospital does nothing. He then has a siezure and his family are freaking out yelling for help. A triage nurse comes out and has a go at them for asking for help. He then stops breathing and they just casually stroll out with a wheelchair and make him get himself in the chair. I understand the public health system is absolutely run ragged at the best of times but surely they are putting on bets out the back.
