Sitting in traffic while driving Mika to daycare this morning and saw a bunch of transients/homeless looking folks on the sidewalk. One dude gets up, mumbling something to himself, walks a few feet away from the rest of the group, continues the conversation with himself, and then busts into a well-executed classical Olympic style TKD triple switch kick, spin back kick combo. I start looking around for a film crew & realize that this dude wasnt prepping for a scene. He looked like a taller, older, more beaten-up version of the legendary Clay Barber. So if you think that the random homeless are ALL untrained, dont forget that some of them may well have been very accomplished in some sport (including martial arts) at some point in their lives.
