Sitting on a shop stoep in Chadiza town, the mind wonders to what we have been doing since the British leisurely left. Most areas and chiefdoms visited so far have been heartbreaking. I have seen this kind of deprivation, poverty before in most of rural Zambia, but it seems I just cant come to terms that we continually cheat ourselves that the Centralist governments we consistently have are doing something for these people, we always leave behind. Really, wonder why they even bother participating in the democratic space. If Tshaka Zulu was to walk these parts again, he surely would not be very lost, but would be shocked at the deprivation. #justthinking
