Sitting quietly here, reading all your posts. Basically minding my own business, when the whole room / house started to sway before my eyes/ body and feet! Weve just had an earthquake - terramoto as its called here. The second in three days for the main city of Quito up the hill behind us. Went outside and found the garden moving too! All this while talking to Becky on Skype from my mobile!, Very weird and a tad scary too! The feeling is like sitting/standing on a very hard and large blancmange. Our friends in NZ only know this feeling too well! Now I know why we have our emergency chest being filled with bedding, water, food etc at this very moment, and why I have connected up all our own water supply from the springs on the land, less than a week ago! Happy days! Watch this space!
