Sitting tonight next to dad. I realise the reality of the many Whanau in rooms down the hallway I stretch out my awareness to the many Whanau occupying wards all over the country I expand my awareness and touch my global village of family members sitting in hospitals across the world I become the four sacred winds and tides of life and acknowledge all who suffer this night without family support, with no access to healing both spiritual or physical, social or mental, ethical or moral, ecological or economic, resource less and poverty stricken I breath in all suffering and gift it back to source Io Matangaro Creator who bears the universal cost of all healing I exhale life, love and levity for all my relations I close my eyes and emit gratitude, appreciation and celebration of this moment for my global Whanau ... And I whisper Aro hā nui May the presence of the divine spark of life, love and levity be upon all my relations
