Sitting under our beach umbrellas with tears streaming down my face!! They are happy tears though! All beach tents, canopies, and baby beach tents on all city beaches have been banned here in MB. A big family with an older child who has cerebral palsy was struggling for 15+ minutes to put up a canopy (beside their two small umbrellas) before the lifeguard came over and told them it wasnt permitted. Broke my heart and I mentioned to David that it should be allowed for those with disabilities! Well, when I walked down to the water, he went over to the beach service guy and paid for the family to have extra shade!! ☺️
