Sitting under palm trees this morning I think I have fallen in love with this place. Been here a week now and imagine this place is just a little smaller than Wales. The black mountains are as good as Switzerland, the beaches as good as Portugal, pallazo as chic and as old as Italy, roads lined with Fir trees and cypresse trees, lemon trees and fruits growing all around that Ive never tasted before. Went to meet an old man who has bee hives this morning. He gave me hot creamy rice pudding for breakfast. I told him how unwell Ive been feeling at times for the last year or so. He gave me a bottle of pure propolis from his very own bees to drink and a huge jar of honey. He wished me well with a glass of blackcurrant and honey brandy called rakija and gave me a bottle to keep. I dont know this morning if it is the air or the dancing last night but Im feeling so very very happy here.....
