Six ScreenWest supported productions have been nominated for 23 awards at the 3rd Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts Awards (AACTA), and will vie for awards in coveted categories such as Best Film, Best Direction and Best Documentary. 22 individual Western Australia screen practitioners will be in the running to win in their award category. Thursday’s Awards Ceremony recognises achievements in writing, acting and directing. Both ceremonies are held in Sydney and the Awards Ceremony will be broadcast on Thursday, 30 January at 8:30pm on TEN.
