Six am seemed to come very. very early this morning. It took me 2 trips to gather everything I needed to take into treat the puppies. I have been tired before many times but with so much going on right now and the sick puppies I truly believe I am getting close to my energy limit. Never the less I medicated, gave fluids to, cleaned AGAIN, and cuddled. Put the feeling good babies out to play and smiled as they ran around like wild monkeys. Three still heartbreakingly critical. Once more laundry in two washers and one more shower for me. I was so exhausted I could not remember if I had washed my hair so to be sure I washed it again. I stepped out of the shower only to realize I forgot to pick up a towel and faced with drying on toilet paper, which seemed like a lot of work, LOL or walking dripping and naked into my back bedroom for a towel, I chose the latter. Not a pretty site, YIKES, I am so glad we live really far out in the boon docks . I sat down o the bed to put on fresh clothes and it seemed to sing a siren song to just climb back in and pull the covers up, yes Lord that would be so very nice, but as the poem say Ive miles to go before I sleep. So I will drag my body out and get started. Please Lord put your warring angles behind me today, I really need someone to keep pushing so I do not stop and fall down. But the three sickest puppies are still here and still trying and I am still fighting and praying so there is something to be joyful and thankful for even when I am so tired I am having trouble forming words to sing praised for this blessing.
