Professional writing Take a class in business writing to learn how to write in a clear, concise way that goes beyond the typical college term paper. Excellent writing skills are needed in every type of business. 6. Leadership studies To show that you can do more than crunch numbers, design ads or code software, take classes in management and then put what you learn to use by becoming a leader in campus organizations.
