Six years ago this Easter season my mother was taken to Heaven in the blink of an eye. My mom was sooo special to me. Oh the wonderful times we had together. My mom was the one that led me to Jesus as my Savior. We lived in Hawaii and I specifically remember going to my mom to ask her how to ask Christ in my heart. She explained it to me and when she did, I knew I wanted to ask Him to be my Savior. I miss her sooo much. One day I will be with her for eternity. This is not a HOPE so, it is I KNOW FOR SURE. I cant ever remember my mom raising her voice at me, her kind spirit was so special. Many days I would see my mom on her knees praying. I knew she knew Jesus in her heart. My mom never said a cuss word at me, she spoke kindly, it reminded me of Jesus. My tears flow as I miss her soo much. Let me explain what happened the week prior to my moms homegoing. Her church choir had been practicing regular hymns to sing for that Easter sunday morning. She had told us that those were special songs to her and she could hardly wait for Easter Sunday to come so she could sing her heart out. Well, she didnt have to wait until that Easter Sunday. On the Thursday, prior to Easter, she met her Savior in person, in Heaven, and was singing those songs Im sure at the feet of Jesus as she bowed prostrate. As my tears continue to flow, they are tears because of the love my mom had for Jesus, and how she demonstrated that love to us 4 girls and to others. I better close this out so I can quit crying. I know what it is to lose someone special to your heart. I may not know you personally buy my Jesus does and He is the only one that can help a broken heart. You pray for me and Ill pray for you.
