Sizeable chunk of skin taken out of Andys face due to squamous cell carcinoma this morning. Were at the doctors for almost five hours, with Andy having three trips into the exam room for more carving. They said they are pretty sure they got everything, thank God. Will wait for the pathology reports, but hoping all will heal well. Glad I could be there with him, since both our families have strong histories of skin cancers. I am blessed to have my moms gypsy skin tone, but believe me, SPF 45+ joins me in the pool everyday! 100 on the face...protect yourselves everyone!! It IS a matter of life or death!
